Lenny’s Backstory

Nobody really knows where Lenny comes from. Some say he was born from a cactus flower that bloomed in the middle of the desert while others speak of a tadpole that bathed in a drop of rain blessed by the moon gods. The truth is that we will never know the legendary origin of Lenny because he has no real past, only a destiny to fulfill.

From the corner of his window, while Lenny was looking at the world, the news was out, the golden age of space conquest has begun! “All the thrill seekers are to fly to the moon in their latest high-tech rocket”. Lenny plans to assemble a SpaceY Fat-con-Heavy while admiring Elon Mush, the king of space pirates, who is the first man to have discovered the truth about Mars and the void century of the Red Planet. “It is the beginning of the SPACE RACE !”, he said.

Lenny wants to realize his wildest dream: to walk on the moon and dance with his girlfriend while drinking a glass of bird milk, even though he doesn’t have a girlfriend yet. Birds don’t make milk either. Anyway, he wants to operate the craziest and most innovative technologies to carry off the SPACE RACE. He has a dream that one day… Nevermind. This day is upon us as Lenny now faces his destiny.

Astronaut Requirements

The main objective of the story is to send Lenny to the moon. To do that, we implemented many rules to follow:

1. Community Driven: We are looking for a vibrant community to help Lenny travel safely through the layers of the atmosphere and avoid the “Pump and Dump” atmospheric waves that can cause a rocket to lose stability and crash. We are therefore looking forward to launching the very first Community IDO (Initial DEX Offering). In addition, many talented artists will help bring Lenny’s extraordinary story to life resulting in the opening of our NFT Marketplace.
2. Address Limitation: We want to create an environment that is healthy, safe and conducive to innovation. As a matter of fact, we decided to set the maximum amount of LENNY owned by a single address to 500,000,000 LENNY. Thus, we decrease the chances of “Whales” appearing in our ecosystem.
3. Community IDO: 50,000,000,000 LENNY will be available during the Presale Period for a minimum required of 500,000 USDC and a maximum of 10,000,000 USDC. By the end of it, each individual will get the equivalent of their contribution over the total contributions collected, and the price of 1 LENNY will be set in such way that the 50,000,000,000 LENNY are worth the total contributions collected. It is worth noting that 50% of the LENNY will be retrievable immediately after the Community IDO while the other 50% will be locked and retrievable at a rate of 10% of the 50% once every 3 weeks for security reasons. The Community IDO has been thought in a way that benefits the community as everybody is contributing to the launch of a project that would not have been possible otherwise. Thus, the Community IDO prevents unfortunate events to happen such as “Pump and Dump”, “Whales” & “Rug Pull”. Participating in the Community IDO will also grant you LP tokens to retrieve stacked liquidity from the liquidity pool. The extraction of the liquidity is limited to 10% once every 3 weeks.
4. PancakeSwap Liquidity Pool: By the end of the Community IDO Presale Period, a liquidity pool of 50,000,000,000 LENNY will be added on SushiSwap, representing the entry to the secondary market. It should be noted that SushiSwap has implemented a transaction fee of 0.3%. This fee is automatically added back in the liquidity pool, hence resulting in rewards for the community members with stacked liquidity.
5. NFT Marketplace: The LennyVerse development team is working on establishing its art ecosystem based on the creation of its NFT Marketplace where a variety of NFTs will be offered through the LennyVerse website. The ecosystem will only be accessible for the community members, identifiable as LENNY holders. There will be three layers of operation regarding the NFT Marketplace: the Dev Team, the Artists and the Community. More details are provided in our White Paper and on our website.
6. Dev Wallet: 5,000,000,000 LENNY will be detained by the Dev Team for Community use only. Indeed, it will be used exclusively to make sure the project is going well. From the 5,000,000,000 LENNY, half of it (2,500,000,000) will be locked for 1 year as nobody will be able to use the LENNY, while the rest will be immediately available.

Lenny’s Roadmap

Stage 1: Lenny on the Launch Pad

The Community IDO Presale Period will be announced shortly with detailed instructions on how to participate. The Dev Team’s goal is to ensure that the event takes place in the fairest and safest environment possible. In parallel, the team will intensively work on the development of the NFT Marketplace.

Stage 2: Launch

By the end of the Community IDO Presale Period, we will start the deployment of the LENNY/USDC Liquidity Pool on SushiSwap (Arbitrum One). This marks LENNY’s entry into the secondary market. The Dev Team will finalize the development of the NFT Marketplace while continuing to improve the animated story around Lenny’s universe.

Stage 3: NFT Marketplace

The Dev Team will launch the NFT Marketplace centered around Lenny’s story. The team will be in charge of the writing. An art ecosystem will be built around the character of Lenny. The Dev Team will devote most of its efforts in creating a well defined community-driven environment while continuing to refine the project as a whole.

Stage 4: The Multiverse

The Dev Team will allow the LennyVerse community members to submit their own version of Lenny’s story, illustrating the birth of parallel universes. Art ecosystems will be built around the chosen stories which would carry messages and support humanitarian causes. This will result in a more participative project with a purpose.

Stage 5: The Lenny Fest

The Dev Team will further expand the project by organizing community events to further develop the art ecosystem concept. “Lenny Fest” events will allow the community to share their own digital art and content creations, which will not necessarily be related to the character of Lenny and its story.

Stage 6: Multi-Blockchain Ecosystem

The ultimate goal is to become a multi-blockchain utility token with interoperability features. The project will even extend beyond the realm of art in the sense that there will be a rich Lenny ecosystem composed of multiple smaller ecosystems offering applications to use cases and operating in different blockchains at once.

Lenny’s NFT Marketplace

The LennyVerse development team is working on establishing its art ecosystem based on the creation of its NFT Marketplace where a variety of NFTs will be offered through the LennyVerse website. The ecosystem will only be accessible for the community members, identifiable as LENNY holders. There will be three layers of operation regarding the NFT Marketplace.

The Dev Team

The development team will be able to submit 10 NFTs where the community will vote for their 5 favorites. These unique NFTs will essentially focus on the story. The team will also be able to launch collections, limited to 1 per chapter.

The Artists

Special NFTs will be produced by artists who are willing to submit their work for potential partnership. We plan to select up to 10 artists per chapter of the story and each artist will create his/her own digital artwork to be shared on LennyVerse Marketplace. A maximum of 5 depictions of each chapter will be offered through the Marketplace, chosen from the artists mentioned above through a voting system involving the community.

These NFTs can only be purchased with LENNY tokens and an auction system will be set up with a reserved price.

The artist will receive 80% of the LENNY while the development team will receive the other 20%.

The Community

Every member of the LennyVerse community, identifiable as LENNY holders, will be able to share their artwork in the ecosystem (1 NFT per address) in exchange of a small fee of 500 LENNY and a lock of US$50 in LENNY for 1 week, for security reasons.

A maximum of 100 NFTs will be accepted to enter a contest system where the rest of the community will be able to vote for their 25 favorites to be offered in the Marketplace.

Every community member will have votes proportional to the amount of LENNY held. The NFTs offered in the Marketplace can only be purchased in LENNY tokens and an auction system will be set up with a reserved price. The starting price of each NFT will be determined according to the number of votes obtained.

Just like the case of the artists previously mentioned, there will be a split of 80%/20% between the creator of the artwork and the development team.

The Team’s Perspective (from the Control Tower)

The Team’s Vision

Ideas are born while observing the world around us and trying to make things better. It may seem as if Lenny is a mere fictional character, but we are working on something of a larger scale.

We truly want Lenny to be alive and to be the first Story-Oriented Character ever. The character has a real backstory and is inspired by the famous Lenny Face meme. We are trying to bring him to life through this Blockchain project. We want the project to be Community Driven so that the bigger the project gets, the better the story will become and the longer it will last. News, conversations on social media and overall events happening in the community will potentially make up the following steps of the storyline, including unique animations. Artists and the community will also help bring the story to life by creating wonderful artwork to illustrate this vibrant story.

In addition, we have spent a lot of time working on this project trying to innovate the way our Smart Contracts are written. We thought of a way to make the whole community participate in Lenny’s launch through our Community IDO. Indeed, we believe that it is the first of many which will eventually lead to the birth of countless great projects in the future, from brilliant people who do not have the required starting capital.

Furthermore, we are looking forward to launching our NFTs in conjunction with the key moments of Lenny’s journey. We plan to ensure that these NFTs will be produced by talented artists with poetic flair as well as our precious LennyVerse community.

We are constantly improving and trying to innovate further. The idea is to use a character’s story to tackle real use cases. We are here for the people and we believe that together we can go beyond the imaginable.
